The M4 motorway
UPDATE 3.28pm: A spokeswoman for Gwent Police said the crash, reported at 2.40pm involved two lorries.
The driver of one of the lorries was taken to hospital as a precaution but the incident does not look serious, she said.
The lorries have now been moved onto the hard shoulder and recovery ordered. Two lanes were closed for a time, she said.
TWO lanes of the M4 motorway are reportedly blocked near Newport due to a multi-vehicle crash.
The eastbound carriageway is affected between Junction 24 (Coldra) and Junction 23a (Magor services).
Traffic is queueing on the eastbound side.
