TV CHEF Matt Tebbutt is to close his Monmouthshire restaurant the Foxhunter.
The star of Food Unwrapped and the Great British Food Revival confirmed last night that he will be closing the award-winning eaterie on 10th January.
Tebbutt said: "After 13 very happy and tough years, The Foxhunter is sadly closing it's doors." The reason he said, was the prospect of "exciting new projects I couldn't refuse."
The top chef worked in London for eight years having trained with many of the UK's leading chefs, including Marco Pierre White, Alistair Little and Sally Clarke. He converted the old stationmaster’s house and former pub in Nantyderry, between Abergavenny and Usk, into one of Wales’ top restaurants.
