IN 2015 Brace’s Bread sponsored Rogerstone Rangers under 9’s football team and now other local sports clubs can get their share of a brand new £10,000 Brace’s Community Sport Fund.

The family-owned bakery provided the junior team with a complete kit of shirts, shorts and socks and has created the Brace’s Community Sport Fund to help even more clubs the with the funds they need to continue.

Richard Jones, the under 9s team manager, said, “We were so grateful to Brace's Bakery for sponsoring the under 9's kit. Training and playing football at the weekends is great for working on skill development, participation, friendship and leading a balanced, active, healthy lifestyle. The boys really appreciated the contribution as they looked and felt very smart when representing the club that season.”

Brace’s is offering grants of £250-£500 to small sporting organisations across South East Wales and the Valleys, in partnership with the South Wales Argus.

Brace’s is committed to keeping sport alive in the community and grants are open to all sports clubs – rugby, football, dance, golf, even chess.

From kit sponsorship and new sports equipment to sport events and training for coaches, the grants will help keep community sport alive.

Interested groups can apply for a slice of Brace’s Community Sport Fund grant now by completing a simple application form on bracesbakery.co.uk.
