POLICE discovered a man's cannabis plants after they arrested him on suspicion of assault and criminal damage.
Gwent Police area support east officers - working in Newport and Monmouthshire - arrested a 32-year-old man in Bettws overnight on Sunday.
After arresting the man on suspicion of assault and criminal damage, police discovered his cannabis cultivation.
