A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of trying to set fires near to a Newport day centre for the homeless.
One crew of firefighters from Maindee were called to Stow Hill near to the Olive Branch at Bethel Community Church at 9.37pm on Sunday night.
The fire service said one man was arrested
