FIREFIGHTERS were called to a house fire in Risca this morning.
The South Wales Fire and Rescue Service were called at 6.52am to a house fire on Mount Road, Gelli Park.
On arrival crews reported smoke and flames coming through the ground floor front door.
A spokeswoman for SWFRS said crews have confirmed all persons were out of the bungalow and at 8.14am reported the fire extinguished.
Crews fom Risca, Duffryn and Malpas were in attendance.
A spokeswoman said the fire was accidental and started in an electrical cupboard.
