A manor in Barry is to show off their extensive grounds by starting garden tours next Spring.
Gileston Manor estate boasts over 11 acres of land and - the grade II listed Georgian manor house currently holds weddings.
The tour £25 tour includes a walk round the gardens, a chance to feed the alpacas by hand, see the range of animals and have afternoon tea on the grounds.

Owners Lorraine Garrad Jones and Josh Llewellyn brought the manor 12 years and spent four million on the estate to bring it back from being semi- derelict
Jack Jones, 23, head gardener, who runs the tours said: “At the time the grounds were full of brambles, all the outbuildings that are now accommodation had no roofs.
"Lorraine is all hands on in the gardens and running the estate, she designed a lot of it and has a real eye for design.

“The garden has now matured enough to hold tours.
“Among our animals we have a really rare sheep costing £15,000 from Switzerland, baby alpacas are arriving in December – we have older ones currently, black swans, pheasants, ducks and white peacocks.

“It’s really cool showing off the work I have done, we’ve got a church on site from 1300s that has the original door.
“No one knows we’re here before we started holding weddings two years ago it was the owners private land.”

Garden tours will be available for private groups from five people and is also open for garden societies at a discounted price, small private parties and large groups are also welcome.
Jack who studied Horticulture for 3 years took over as head gardener in January whilst groundsman Dale Coles has taken care of the lawns for the current and previous owners.
Jack said: “The previous owners were the Alexander's, the grandmother being the Royce from Rolls - Royce.
Next year we will be starting alpaca walks and alpaca ding experiences where people eat and they bring the alpacas in.

“We have accommodation on site, and we will start incorporating tours with the accommodation for garden holidays.
"We will be open with our spring extravaganza, at the beginning of April, there will be 100s of designer tulips to see."
