Rishi Sunak has now been in charge for 100 days and, based on the latest polls, the prospects for the PM's government seem dire.
His last 10 days have perhaps been the worst yet - Mr Sunak finally fired the Tory party chairman, Nadhim Zahawi, after a damning investigation by the prime minister’s ethics adviser found Mr Zahawi had committed multiple breaches of the ministerial code.
First he seemingly failed to declare that he was under investigation by HMRC and then that he had paid a penalty.
His dismissal marks yet another Tory party mess as Mr Sunak battles to maintain control of his party.
He's not helped by the fact his deputy is also under investigation after multiple allegations of bullying staff.
Nor by the ongoing public unravelling of former PM Boris Johnson's banking arrangements.
If this happened to a Welsh Conservative, I expect them to resign the honourable way and not be sacked like a friendless rogue.
