SIX Newport Gwent Dragons youngsters have been named in the Wales under-18s squad for their first international of the season in France.

Lloyd Lewis, Ellis Shipp, Leon Brown, Nathan Hudd, Connor Edwards and Arwel Robson have all been selected for the match at Marcoussis in the south of Paris on Sunday (kick-off 1.30pm).

Wales then host England at St Helens, Swansea, on Sunday, March 15 (kick-off 4pm) following Wales Women’s Six Nations game against Ireland at 12noon at the same venue.

WRU international skills coach Geraint Lewis, who coaches the side along with Chris Horsman, James Chapron and Cardiff Met’s Danny Milton, said: “It’s a quick turnaround but we will focus on France this week and look at England after that.

“Playing Leicester Academy two weeks ago was a useful exercise but we were disappointed with elements of our performance and result of that match so there were a lot of lessons learned.”
